[SOLVED] Is Samsung Gear VR complatable with Note 5 (N920C) Pakistan varient ?

Hi, I own a note5 (N920C) dual sim and was wondering if anybody has used it with Samsung's GearVR headset and does the Oculus software install automatically when the phone is inserted or if we need flash some other region's firmware to it work, cuz i read on different websites that Note5 and Edge+ requires a software update to make the RV work...

Any thoughts.

They require a software update. Flash the Marshmallow ROM, or wait for it to be released on XSG / OJV CSC for Pakistan and UAE devices.

It is compatible though, there was an offer abroad where they were giving Gear VR and Note 5 / S6 Edge+ bundles.

I'm not sure.
If you have received an OTA recently, it might.
If you're on Android 6.0.1, it will definitely work.

Only problem is that MM ROM hasn't been released yet for UAE / PAK N920C.

Thank for the input guys, just got the VR this evening and it worked like a charm.. the Oculus Software installed as soon as the phone was plugged in... I guess my firmware was the latest one after all... no updates were needed.
