Is amd radeon 7790 is enough to play gta v on ultra at 1080p?

Depends on your anti aliasing. Without aa you would might be fine on the 7790 with aa you will need the 7850. The 7850 is a worthwhile investment since it can run approx all games maxed out.
Smoothens out the edges so you see a clear picture rather than jagged lines

CodeLyoko is right... if you are gonna use AA and higher settings atleast go for 7850....I have a 7850 + i3 and i play at 1080p having no problem...

I currently played Splinter Cell Blacklist at 4x Msaa and 8x anisotropic filtering with no lag....
The shadows were set to medium...
So yeah... if you wanna game at decent quality 7850 is the chioce
i want this type of card is gtx 680 is good i have option to buy this card
gtx 660 but i want to upgrade to gtx 680 for better and smooth graphics i am just thinking that if amd 7790 is better than gtx 660 thats why iam asking about amd

my res is 1366 x 768 and i have already maxed bl2, ac2, dao and codmw3
i am currently playing skyrim on ultra with 4x msaa and 16x af with about 260 mods installed and i get 40-60 fps
so if you plan on playing at 1600x900 or below, this card is a beast but for 1080p you need a 7850 at least like Eternal Blizzard said
btw why sell your 660? it should have maxed games for at least 2 years to come

Both AMD and Nvidia have strengths. AMD has value, Nvidia is headache free for the average user. If money is no object go Nvidia. If money is an object, and you are willing to do some 'khawri' go AMD.
