Invictus Gaming wins LoL World Championship (discussion thread)

Invictus Gaming on Saturday won the LoL worlds. They won a prize pool of $2,250,000.00 and not to mention the bragging rights for being the best LoL team in the world.

IMO the matches were quick and decisive and IG won 3-0 and didn't let FNC get any grip on the games. Well I play on EUW and i should support FNC but i think that FNC's Rekkles was too self-absorbed and proud of himself and also FNC's players were underestimating their competition, which cost them the championship.

The future of LoL in LPL seems a lot better and I hope more and more players come forward to the LPL scene and show us what China has to offer in the LoL worlds the next year. Also do you think that SKT's Faker has lost his touch since they couldn't even qualify for the worlds?

What are your thoughts about why FNC lost the championship? And the future of LoL in the LPL after winning their first LoL worlds?

P.S: I am curious as to how much you scored in the worlds Pick'em? I scored 54 points total and reached 4th position in the celebrities ranking and 6th Ancient Kurg in the overall ranking.

I left playing league 2 years ago after playing it for almost 5 years!! but I still watch the matches on you tube. This final was a joke! 3rd seat Chinese team won! if it has to be a Chinese team then I think RNG deserved more thn this shit IG which Got the easy pick on FNC.

Im happy I didnt wasted my time watching final live!! I was sad when Schalke lost the gauntlet. I like this team! there match was more fun to watch thn FNC. Rekkles is a 1 trick pony, thy need a new ADC.

I dont know follow LPL nor Korea. I find there matches boring AF.

Where exactly did you make this shit up? First of all, Rekkles ins't one trick pony, he has been doing great so far this year and he's one of the best ADCs in league right now. And what you mean by 3rd seat Chinese? Invictus Gaming won because they worked hard and they definitely deserve the win. And Fnatic was probably the best team before they got rekt by IG. You can't say they were easy pick lol. Guess you have no idea what you are talking about after all because you stopped playing the game 2 years ago. But don't just throw random things.
