can anyone tell me about the credibility, teaching style, scope etc of this relatively new university ITU.

It's a government funded university, with a far more dynamic approach to CS and an amazing faculty. The VC is one of the most successful Technology innovators of Pakistan as well and has studied at Cambridge and Harvard and has a great vision about his project.

OMG that VC tho umar saif OMG,looks promising,but it is fairly new so not sure,After some years this uni would match the likes of fast i reckon

definitely itu has worth bcz of umar saif, dr sohail aslam, bardar & excellent faculty .. go and apply there with out any tnsn and doubt ...

He doesn't look promising, he already has shown us his worth. Just have a look at this achievements and you'll be blown away. He even worked with some green technology project in USA.

Exactly. ITU's my backup in case I don't make it into LUMS or denied the aid. They're giving a tuition waiver on 8As and more and you've to retain it with a 3.3+ cpga every semester. Purely merit based unlike most of the government universities out there.

ahan nice plan,I wanna apply to but I am afraid if it didn't turn out to be what it is actually..It is quite New and Small...So aagy ja kr pta ni kesi opportunities deti hai University,A VC or few teachers don't define a university,But surely It looks promising

There's no harm in applying though. I know but everything starts from a scratch. I've talked with several freshies on Facebook and the courses they've been taught aren't even taught at LUMS. They started doing C++ and Python in their second semester. It's purely practical oriented approach. You don't have to study Chem, Pak St, Isl or any ratta wagiera. There's too much frustration and cramming at FAST. Best for FSC. It's hard for A level students to settle there as many of my friends in 2nd year still condemn their decision of joining FAST. Na GPA ata hai and na he study burden thorra hota hai.

I would be eagerly getting there if i can just know what about after graduation? Jobs opportunities chances?and opportunities abroad? Yeah that's the only question I have. I will Insha'Allah carry out proper inspection after CIEs. Would visit ITU once and talk with face to face. Hahaha sahi baat hai

Although i am not applying but NTS kelie dogar's nts kafi hai,test is damn easy except analytical reasoning portion...one may learn it from dogar's and then practice it a lot online...in this way u can ace it easily

Yeah but NTS ICS main there's also a computer part. Dont know where to study it from.

Book to choti see hai 1 hafty mein khtm hojaegi,but don't procastinate,first get a hands on review of book after buying it then decide for yourself

Yaar aap logon k mzy hain,seedha seedha abroad (not neccessarily US,europe or even malaysian top unis),LUMS/iba ya giki key test dia kro,aap logon k to concepts and critical thinking humse kafi achi hoti hai,and paisa bhi hota hai bahr jane kelie
