How to fix this error?

I use windows vista, the problem is that I have to install+run a software named Video WaterMark Factory & I've already downloaded that software from different locations (links) but whenever I try to install this software, it doesn't install and gives me this error:
P.S. Don't suggest me to re-install the windows bcoz it's not possible since I'm using the legit copy and I don't have its DVD.

@abobobilly, thanks for the invitation for help, I am extremely busy with my upcoming exams its difficult to find time to work out a solution for this problem. (and vista was never an OS that I installed more than once).

But it seems that WMF(water mark factory I presume) has problem with vista, though not many but a few user have put up same problem on some of the discussion boards. Here is a link to a board where a user has pasted the same problem, but please do understand some of the contents on this board are not meant for under 18 people.

Apparently there could be two issues
one the antivrus/windows might have identified the program as malware and blocked it permanently (less likely) and
(more likely) Secondy the software might have compatibility issues with vista and hence must be re-installed in xp compatibility mode, but before reinstallation it must be unistalled not just simple uninstalled, but removing every instance of the program from registry as well (and that my friend is a huge risk for novices)

BTW as far as the probelm of legit Vista is concerned and not having the DVD, find a little program called keyfinder, run it and save the serial number of vista, so that if your installation of vista runs into problem you could reinstall it with any other dvd.:signs069:
Even then if the problem is not solved post again and I ll try to help, but please do understand my exam is on 19th and 20th march and I have to travel to USA as well so finding time will be bit of an issue for me. as far as the error WMF has stopped working it is simply telling that due to one reason or the other "Water mark Factory" has stopped working, if you are connected to net click the option saying "close the program and look for an online solution" see what happens, Post that as well (hopefully it will go to MS website and try to find a solution) (HIGHLY RECOMENDED)

I think we can't run this software on vista and I did read the link in ur post, same thing discussed there as well but no solution I found there.
About telling MS for this error is just another waste of time. And I can't take the risk of downloading "keyfinder" as this thing can crack my vista, so therefore my windows legit status can be gone which I don't want. BTW I also tried this software in the compatibility mode of XP Servcie Pack 2 but it doesn't work from this either.

Can u give me any other software for watermarking video which runs in Vista too?

Good decision, there are times when one needs to give up.

LOL it just tells you the serial number, doesnt crack/hack anything, I have always used legit windows, never harmed any of them. Its good if you bought a system from a vendor who installed legit windows but didnt give you the serial number. Other way of finding the serial number is for those who know a lot about windows registry.

video charge, winwatermark (i personally used video charge) pretty good.
