HOW TO: DLC for 2 people WITHOUT License Transfer!

Greeting Brothers,

Ok Lets get to the point. Today I downloaded FRUIT NINJA KINECT from xbox live market on my unmodified console slim ( I have two consoles, other one is modified ) because I didn't want to go live on my modified console as it needs to be updated to go live. so I instead downloaded it on my unmodified console but now, the problem is I can't play it on my other ( unmodified) console as to be a full game. When I transfer the game through USB on the unmodified console the game still shows as to be a trial version but not as the full game. But, on the original console I can play it as full game. So, does anyone know what the heck is going around here? What am I doing wrong?

Since a lot of people here claim that License Transfer is the only non-hax way to get the map pack free, I'm posting another way. I doubt I'm first to post this, but when I tried searching it is stoopid.

1. Get the microsoft points on account #1.

2. Log account #1 on account #2's XBOX.

3. Buy and download DLC.

4. Now recover account #1 back to account #1's XBOX. Both accounts can play the DLC now!

(I do not claim to be first to find this, I found this on my own though, but it seems pretty simple enough to be common knowledge. This was entirely to remind people that license transfer isn't the only way.)

You have to use the original profile too that you used to download the game. Transfer the profile to usb along with game and copy to your hard disk. Hopefully, it will solve your problem. Next time, use your own profile on that other console to download game and then transfer the profile along with game back to your own Xbox 360.

I did transfer my profile on the other console along with the game but still the game shows as to be a trial version.

You have to use the profile which you used to download the game, it is now forever tied to that account. If you used your own profile to download game then i don't know what is the problem here.

u have to RECOVER the profile u used to purchase the game on the console u want to play it on.after that go to ur profile's download history and download the game again.it will download a vry small file (several KBs) and the game will be unlocked to full ver.keep in mind ur profile will nw work only on this console (Xbox LIVE).if cant use the same profile on 2 consoles at a time if u play on LIVE.although this can be remedied by keeps one console OFFLINE.

Would It be safe for an unmodified console to go live? The updated will not flash its modification back to original state? that's what really concerns me at the moment.

this makes no-sense...if its unmodified then what the problem?

anyway if u mean MODIFIED then, its safe as long as u have LT3.0

Ok! If I download my original profile with which the game was downloaded, on the modified console and download the game again on that console then what you are telling me is that I can't use my XBL profile on its original console?

Sorry, I mean't modified :). Yes! it has LT3.0

yes thats mostly what i m saying...u cant use ur Xbox LIVE registered GT on 2 consoles WHILE ONLINE but there is a loop in the system.what u can do is that recover it to the console u want to play the game on.unlock the game and after that recover it back to ur XBOX LIVE console and keep the first one offline.that way u trick the system and use the same GT on 2 or more console.

Okay i have to download my xbl profile that used to download the game with on the modified console and redownload the game on it and after that i go back to my unmodified console and recover my profile onto it and keep my modified console offline.

What is DRM? Isn't it better than all this messy stuff?

Precisely...do it exactly like this and u wont have any trouble hopefully.

Digital Rights Management is the reason why u cant use ur GT on multiple consoles at the same time.

whats ironic is that u posted in it too so u made a new thread knowingly that said topic is already discussed.i should simply delete this thread but since u have done some work here and refined the process with clear steps therefore i will instead move it to appropriate section and merge it with the above mentioned thread.

next time when u make a new thread please use the search tool.its there for a reason and its not stoopid!
