Hi guys,

I'm hoping to import an asus rog laptop soon and homeshopping.pk has the best rate.

The problem is I was recently almost scammed by saqiscity. I trusted that site and purchased many goods from them.

So the question is can I trust homeshopping.pk with almost 180k or not. I value the opinion of fellow pakgamers. Share your experiences with me :)

Thanks guys.

Best option would be to see if some of your relative is coming from USA or UAE, you may directly order it from newegg or amazon and let your relative bring it for you, that would be the most cost effective and secure way but if it ain't possible the next best thing would obviously be hsn, though heard some bad reviews about them too but generally they have proven themselves when it comes to e-commerce in Pakistan. Also beegeek is another competitor I have heard alot of praise about, you may check them out along with daraz.pk.

They're pretty reliable. I've purchased quite a lot of stuff from them (a limited edition Xbox 360, Macbook Air, DSLR equipment, etc) never had any issue.
But I believe you will be using their YouBuyWeShip service? I am sure they won't scam you or anything! But just make sure product is 100% brand-new, not refurbished or anything else! Apart from that you should be good.

Nope. I ended up purchasing HP omen from a premium seller here. I just couldn't justify spending 180k on a laptop while I have a 970 in my PC.

Ahan so you bought it GTX 860m 4gb right how it is working?
Its working great man. I needed speed and it delivered. I write articles a lot so needed a reliable companion for that. Gaming wise, well I have only played Diablo III, Fallout NV, The Elder Scrolls Skyrim and Hatred. They all work really well. Played GTA V too and it surprisingly ran at @60fps on mixed high/ultra/med settings.

Wise decision sir. :)
Congrats.
Indeed. Now I will need to upgrade that 970 to either what AMD is comming up with or 980ti and I will be happy ;(

No, you still won't be happy.

These things are never ending.

After the 980ti, you will want the next models and so on.

I guess the 970 is a powerful GPU and can run almost anything on ultra at 1080p. Checked myself.

Lol you are right captain!

970 is more than enough for 1080p and indeed runs almost every game at 60 fps. But I was going to get a ultrawide monitor and then upgrading to 980ti. Again I won't be able to justify this move ;)
