High ping reasons and solutions

Why is it that none of the ISPs in Pakistan can provide good pings with the rest of the worlds' servers. I tried PTCL, it only has some of it's own servers for games like counterstrike etc. which are still relatively better but still terrible on international standards and frustrating. What are the reasons that this quality multiplayer gaming access still escapes us to this day. Nayatel is a better ISP but they still have this problem.

Also will this situation improve over time, are there any initiatives thst may change this condition?

What are some of the possible solutions to this short of migrating to a country with better internet?

Well ISPs ka issue nhi hai.
Jo Humari ISPs k gateways ( hop ) hain ounka issue hai.
We get low pings in EU Servers but get high Ping Asia Servers. Sound weird right?
Recently ( good thing ), we are getting 70-100 ping in Dubai Servers ( CSGO, Rocket League ).
in BF1, BF4 lowest server ping starts from 160ms which is awesome, i still remember we used hide ping and play bf3 on 300ms server because there were not low ping servers but now they are. Things are getting better.

Now about Pakistani servers.
PGL(PTCL) trying its best to provide the gaming servers for the legit games like Rust, CS:S, CSGO etc.
I'm not sure why u had bad experience with PTCL ISP and online gaming. I play everyday, different games mostly on EU servers, i get around 150-180ms stable with 0 lag. ( 4mbps, ISB Location, Connection is not a fiber one but still its 10/10 )

ISP in pakistan operate at only 5 to 10hz and broad band is nothing here except wired 3G...while in developed countries like in Europe,USA,they operate at more then 30 hz...like in battlefield u have seen they have written their server ticket rates are >60hz or 30hz this is the frequency to collect and send data...just like diff in i3 and i7 processor...
go and curse the ptcl and other retards like them and break their broadband device with the hammer if u want to do any thing ...

u can't play online(exept strategy games) if u dont get blow 140ms atleast..that what i have concluded after playing several game and recently rising storm 2 vitnam....

the reason is that most of the peoples here use internet for crap facebook and other stuff like it..thats why they dont bother to make their service better...

No offense but i think you need to learn what is "server tick rate" and how it affects the game first + what is wired/wireless internet and how it operates. hint: why should wireless internet affect wired internet.

Well i used to get stable 170-180 ms on WOW EU servers but since the past few months it has jumped to 300+ ms. How do i get ptcl to fix this ? My line man says i will change the "pair" something on the telephone poll but i doubt that will fix it.

nothing you can do about high pings.
higher distance and congestion are main culprits.
unless servers are directly hosted here you will be stuck with high ping.

Its because of long physical distance and network congestion. Unless servers are developed are here, nothing will change.
