Hey Let's make a game! :D

Hey everyone,

I was thinking like maan in pakistan so many people like games but hardly any game development :/. And sooooo many people here learn programming or about computer but hardly any companies are set up. So why don't some of us join together to make a game? on mobile platform. As it's the most easiest one overall and also the biggest. And it doesn't have to be highly professional people its more about passion who's ready to take the risk. So what i'm suggesting is that we form a small team, we'll need some digital artists for art work and design of characters or scenes , some programmers for programming, and a sound and audio designers. I'm personally into sound design i can manage that and i also know programming but it's limited for now. And we can all be partners, if the projects work out it'll be good for all of us. I don't know but don't you guys think that the job market is too gloomy? Why don't we do our own business projects.

Also I'm new here I havn't used this forum before but i got this crazy idea and just wanted to share with everyone!

Because...

1. No one knows from where to start
2. They want to make battlefield pakistan islamabad map edition ... always
3. They cannot settle for simple 2 D games
4. It requires effort and dedication and most of all time
5. No one wants to work for free

If you want to make something, start yourself and maybe others will join in

Modifications is a very good place to start. Go to Openra.net and try to make a single player map based on the tutorials given there (were written by me). That will give you a good idea about game development.

I made a Pakistan vs India mod, but it has not been updated for a while. It has pakistani and indian units and sounds and rebalancing... not to mention a few single player missions that I made. You can help in updating it if you want because currently it is unplayable with the current build of OpenRA. You can grab it from here:
