help with my iphone 3g

hi guyz i accidently updated my firmware to 3.1.2 of iphone 3g now it is stuck on emergency screen and is there any solution to unlock it or not

Nice work! :lol: to make it work, u need to flash the phone with a custom hackticated firmware using itunes, PM me for the link, after hacktivation your phone will work but not the sim, for that you will have to wait, but you're in luck as the unlock for the 3.1.2 version will be released in 4 days!!
P.S please do some research before updating the phone, sheesh!

Or if you are afraid to do it yourself, take it to the local market, they can unbrick it for some small cash.

thanks guyz for giving me hope u all rock who have given me advices i am going to unbrick it from market than on 5th november jailbreak it

download the custom firmware from here:

and connect your itunes in recovery mode.. in itunes hold down shift and click restore.. a dialog box pops up asking for the firmware.. give it the link to the downloaded custom firmware and voila your iphone is jailbreaked + unlocked and running with fw 3.1..

search google for 'iphone firmware 3.1 jailbreak windows' for further assistance.. because i have done this on a lot of iphones and it works, but i used some other website not the one i have linked and i cant seem to find it right now.. but the methods the same so dont worry..

edit: just noticed its 3.1.2.. the firmware restore might enable your phone, but the baseband would be different so you wouldnt be able to call most probably.. anyways best of waiting for 4th november..

i dont think posting of patched firmwares is allowed in PG, as this contains cracked files from the firmware.
