my XFX HD 5770 is not working
jab mai 6 pin connector lagata hoon to pc on nae hota
and jab 6pin connector nikal don to pc on hai jus gfx card ko run nae karahi supply :S
help me out

Please tell us ur entire system including PSU. Please tell when and how the problem first started (or if it was always like this), and anything that happened or that you did just before the problem started

i ve intel core 2 quad q8400
asus p5g43t m pro
4gigz ram kingston
WD HDD
xfx 5770
silverstone strider
and today is the first day i see this problem
when i switch on my pc it did nt showing display when i connect monitor cable to built in vga then it is working fine
then i connect vga cable again to gpu and switch on my pc but i doesnt start after many tries when i remove the 6pin connector then pc start
and now when i connect 6 pin connector pc do not starts the processor fan just move once then nothing happens help me out is this a supply prob or gpu????

Try Swapping PSU.....!!

B/w...Did You Overclock Ur XFX 5770 Last Time You Were Using It Or What?
Its Under Warranty And Its A Egg Type Cooler One Or Shroud(Phoenix) Cooler....!?
Try Removing GPU And Installing Again....!!

500W Silverstone PSU Is Just Too Enough For Your Rig.....!!
5770 Is Not A Power Hungry Card Too Either.....!!
Any Strange Thing Happens Before It Denies To Display On 5770?

nothing happened wen i switch my pc on monitor is showing no display other things are just fine even gpu is also running i turn it off and switch again then gpu fan starts making too much noise i again switched off but when i turn my pc on again then nothing happened... and after removing 6 pin connector it starts .....

Hmm.....GPU Fan Start Making Noise.....I Hope GPU Fan Is Not Messing Around Or Not Stopping Making GPU Heat And Causing Damage....!!
I Would Suggest Then To Give This GPU A Try In Some Other PC And Claim warrenty If Its in Warrenty.....!!

It cannot be a PSU Overload Issue

5770 runs pretty good on a 500W PSU.

There's some problem with the card

yeah there's some problem with the card becoz xfx 5770 supports 500 mhz powersupply

just go 2 ur nearest pc shop and ask him to change the connector only maybe it work if not then claim its warranty

1. Try changing the PSU power cable.
2. If youre using an extension of some sort, try hooking up with power cable directly to the mains.
3. Try hooking up the card with a different 6-pin.
4. Last resort: check the system with a different PSU if possible.
5. If all else fails, check the card on another system. Take it back to the place you got it from.

i ve changed the power cable several times but nothing happened just pc exhaust fan move a lil bit not even complete one rotation ... and when i remove gpu and again switch on then pc doesnt start until i pull out the main power cord and plug it again ....

i have checked with a 350 W pSU chinese psu whole system without GPU working f9....

i have a D101GCC board but i think it do not have pci express 2.0 should i try it??

Yes, you can try even if it only has pci express 1.1 slot.
Secondly, try changing the 3pin psu wire that goes directly into the wall socket from the psu.

i am confused because firstly my pc did no showing display but gpu is running but making noise after that gpu did not started... the problem is that when i remove gpu then pc should have to start but it dont until i ve remove the power cord or switch the main plug off :S
is my PSU have any problem ???

i had a similar problem with an hdd once and it turned out to be the psu......when the secondary hdd was there there was no display but i cud hear the fans in the pc, and when i removed the hdd the pc tirned on fine....

guyz i ve check gpu with a molex convertor and when switch it on then a spark and sound appear then gpu burnt :S

Burnt Like U Hear Any Smell Or See Spark....!!
Spark Is Really Strange But I Doubt That Your GPU Got Some issues....!!
I Would Suggest To Give It A try On Some Other Board....!

I Still Don't Get How It Burnt :S
GPU Get Burnt Only If They Are Running Too Hot And Something Fails Inside....!!
Other Than That Spark And Short Circuit Thingy Is Way Too Rare .Occur If Some Mishandling Or Improper Installation of Hardware Is Done....!!
You get It From Czone or What...Claim Warrenty As ASAP..
