It has been 7 years since i used a desktop PC. Because of loadshedding i have been using laptops to do everything - work, gaming and whatever.
The thing is, laptops are expensive and not great value for money. I have an expensive laptop but it only runs COD black ops 4 on the lowest settings. I don't want to splurge 1 lakh+ for a laptop.
I have an old gaming PC lying around which can certainly be revitalized to play modern games.
It has a Phenom 955 processor which should be adequate? But that's not the point of this post.
How do you guys run your desktop PCs even though there's loadshedding?
I'm interested to know what kind of setups you're using. If you've coupled a UPS with the system, i'm curious to know how that works.
Thanks for the advice.
