Help! PS4 fan super loud!

Alright, So my Ps4 reigon 1's fan is SUPER loud to the point where it's becoming obnoxious. Is there any way I can fix this? I read online that maybe the thermal paste has dried up. The console runs fine and doesn't show signs of heating up, but its REALLY loud. Like a 747 taking off loud. Any advice? Know anyone who can fix it?

Okay, you might consider this to be a stupid response but do you have the PS4 covered with maybe a cloth or anything of the sort while it's running? Is it inside some very tight compartment?

You need to let it breathe while it's doing it's thing.

No, it's well ventilated. Starts off fine but the minute you play anything it takes off like a jet.

Is this one of the launch PS4? Some of these were reported to be super loud and it had something to do with its cooling. Not really faulty but not exactly good either. Not sure what to say here since there is no warranty system, but you can try to sell it and get a new one, if possible.

do you think it's repairable? I read/research about it and its mainly due to poor thermal paste. I wonder if someone could replace the paste on the processor/heatsink?

Maybe you need to take out the fan and clean it , like ppl do with their pic fans

Or replace it with new one

i have launch day console. it became loud a month back, i took the console to the lawn and used a high power blower and blew all the dust from the sides which came out frm the back,

i just blew blower on the right and left vents and lots of dust came out frm the back.

Do not forget we live in pakistan which is very dusty, a quick blow will fix your fan.

my ps4 now works feather light,

p.s i cover my ps4 when not in use Plus i use it Horizontally onnly, make sure you use it horizontally only.
