I am an alevels student who wants to do civil engineering from Nust. I did not give SAT as I am in A 2 and wants to get good grades in alevels so I thought that it will not affect my studies. Now I do not have time to prepare for nust entry test.I have decided to just prepare from fsc books and give the exam in June as in the December and March session I will have my mid terms and mocks respectively so cannot affect my studies. Please give me a wise option what should I do? Or are there any other universities which have entry test in July or August so I had time to prepare for the entry test.

You should have given SAT. It doesn't affect your grades that much, and even if it did, it's benefits would have outweighed its drawbacks.

Having said that, you don't have a choice now other than preparing for the NET. My suggestion would be you join a coaching soon as your CIE exams end.

At the moment youre enrolled in A levels so your point of focus should be that, work hard and try to achieve fair grades. Stop worrying about the entrance tests and universities. You can attend both SAT and NET next year in june.
