HELP: Modified Console needs to go live to Recover GT

I have one modified console (FAT) and it hasn't been online for last i guess, one and a half year or so but it has old Kinect Dashboard. Now, I need to recover my unmodified console (SLIM) XBL profile onto modified console to download an aracade game (fruit Ninja Kinect), which I downloaded on my unmodified console. So, for that this modified console needs to be updated to the newer dashboard or system update. Will this update gonna flash its modification or not?

modded console is not safe on xbox live.. you can download XBLA games on your pc, unlock them using yari's swap and put them on you modified console (JTAG / RGH)

I know modded consoles are not safe no matter what that's why I am using my unmodded console for my online experience but the thing is that I have downloaded an arcade game onto my unmodified console and now I want to play that game on my modified console and for that my modded console needs to be update. So, What I am asking, is it safe to update my console? Won't it screw the modification? It has LT+


PS: The CD/DVD version of fruit Ninja Kinect hasn't been released yet and so you can't download it from Internet as it's not available.

umm this is an unexpected development....yes u need to go online through ur console to recover ur GT.there is no other way and yes ul mod will be removed after updating but that problem can easily be solved by getting it modded again.

When you update past dashboard 12625 on a fat console, your modification (LT/LT+) will be removed and you will need to get the console reflashed before being able to play with the pirated discs in the market. Also note that you can no longer RGH your console if you apply the update to go on live(15574).
