I have an old lenovo t500 laptop and as title said i would like to ask if itnis possible to run that laptop without adapter/charger. Its battery is dead and now its adapter is not working too.

I was thinking about cutting the power cable from adapter and pluging it in direct supply of 220v! Will it work or the laptop will be fried?

Lol of course the laptop will die if you plug it to a direct 220V source without an adapter. The adapters convert from 220V AC to (normally) 19V DC. Your best bet is to find a new adapter and use that. (of same or more current capacity. eg. a 19V 4A adapter is a suitable replacement for a 19V 2.8A adapter, but a 19V 2A adapter is not.).

the charger is easily available, don't go around doing something stupid like that and frying your laptop or maybe yourself
