major update on GW 2 since release,"Shadow of the Mad King" is here. It seem to be a huge file am downloading it at the moment.what about other guild mrmbers.have anyone tested the file yet?

and yeah think westside ridge would be fine (any one been to "westRidge " in rwp ),and all of us should start the guild activity now..im feeling warmed up(even though my nly character is lvl 43 necromencer)

Calm down u wont be needing a month. Hanging around in a guild(party) levels character faster...i was too slow on leveling until got to see how skillMATIC played...u would get free tips and fast leveling.D/l is in progress, around 5000 files remaining may be another hour or so i guess.

hoping to see u guys once i get online.

Haha I guess, MMos have the level boosting but only works if your friend has a high level character, didnt play much in these ffew days, was a bit focused on borderlands 2, finished it so now back to GW2

Lvling up in this MMO is actually very fast compared to other mmo's. One tip I can give if u want to make money while leveling is don't salvage anything. Pick up all loot u get and sell on trading post or merchants. Whichever gives you move. Oh yeah, don't open bags either .

So i play WOW quiet alot but not these days since Cataclysm became far too monotonous for me.

So i've put it on hold for the last few months now.

I have been thinking about GW2 as well but dont know whether it runs on the same mechanics as WOW does.

I mean do i have to pay a monthly subscription fee to get my game time going or is this just a one time payment ?

Ofcourse this does not mean that any new expansions that come at a later date will be free, they will have to be bought.

So some info about such details from you lot would be much appreciated.

well its only 1 time down payment for lifetime of free GW2.(thats the ebauty of it,and casual gamers are gonna love it like myself)
updates are free so far...maybe futre ones would have a few paid expansions may be.

how ever there are few PvP toutrnaments, those are gonna be paid events.May be SkillMatic an elaborate on that a bit more.

And one more thing is that i'm getting it for 35 pounds from UK but i cant have it sent to me.

So what i also want to know is whether this has editions like US or EU, same has WOW has.

Or there is only 1 edition for the whole world ?

hey just came across this thread.

im currently playing wow been there for a couple of months really hooked to it but i really wanted to know about this GW2 thing. I see there are quite a lot of pakis here so how is it? Anyone with previous MMO experience shed some light please?

btw in case there is anyone who still plays WoW here. We have a lot of paki people on Twilights Hammer/ EU check out the thread for more details.

^^ im a former wow player, about 3-4 years. never legit tho. and have also played lot of free mmorpgs
i find this game excellent. graphics are great. gameplay is great. lots of variety in jobs/abilities etc but still seems very simple. took me a few days to get into things but it feels like im getting addicted now. you should check some videos on youtube etc to get a better idea. i highly recommend it, specially if you can run it on max settings

and btw, i think we need to start playing in parties since it is much faster for us to level up

Fellow guildies, lately there has been no activity apart from the skillmatic and myself, there has been more than 7 active members but none represent the [TMAX].

Alone skill and I have been able to gather some influence points that have been used towards the research,why is it that none of the guildies are interested in guild activity?


There has been no Pakistani representation in GW2, if you people are not interested than no one else would either.when I set out to make this guild the goal was to give local community an national representation while playing casually.but none has been involving so far whatsoever by any means in guild activity.


If there are some suggestions that would bring you back then it shall be highly appreciated. Do let us know of your comments.At the end of the day you will not be treated like home in another guild other than a National one.


Hoping to hear from the PG members (especially helix and madrage).

let it go, these things can't be forced. would be valid if we had 20+ members. people have priorities, jobs or maybe just lost interest. speaking for myself only time i can play is after 9. and that too if i am not tired. i played with skill about a week ago for 3 hours maybe, and that was my log in after a week. its safe to say i can only be a weekend player, i just don't have the energy and the same amount of time that i once had as a gamer

Nice hear from u Omar,we are not forcing it what so ever.thought there were so many pakistani gamers running around in MMOs,giving them a platform would not have hurt.

And yea what u said goes the perfectly with guild statement.we all play it casually,I am myself like u, was hoping for some young guns in there.

Anyways, hope we would see new members around strengthening the guild.
