Gpu red spark

He'll I have gtx msi gtx 780 and yesterday I was playing game and PC is on the right side on table where I play so I can see the inside from its side

So yesterday playing game and suddenly it showed me red spark and it turned off my monitor and I heard freezes sound from my speaker so I immediately turn my ups off which is connected with my PC , so after few mins I turned it on and everything works usual great no issue ,

Then 10 mins later I turned it off , open my case and check the card where I saw red spark and it didn't show me any burned mark or anything and turn on the PC and played game for few hours and turn it off for a 10 Hrs or so and today no issue

So please let me know and what should I check

if your PC is Overclocked bring it down to stock also check gpu power connectors and so on the PSU

I don't think it is overclocking , and I did check all PSU connectors and GPU and push them a bit as well

however I did updated gpu driver which released on 23rd dec , atm its fine

using cooler master silent pro m2 1000watts , msi mpower max motherboard , ci7 4770k never overclocked but ill check where does it over clock on safe side see if its default , seidon cooler mater cooling , ram 16gb , ssd and 2 more hardrive , using this pc for like 8-9 months , and this spark came , so any advice u will give would be really helpful

and using UPS 1k KEBO which is repaired over 3 years few times , it capacitor replaced , last time it was replaced / repaired 3 weeks ago

lol...Dude it was probably the cosmos telling to stop gaming and go help your mom with the dishes anyways jokes apart, if the spark was a one time phenomenon then it was probably an electrostatic build up,as the twin frozr has an aluminium cooler...and ur PC froze due to temporary 'latch-up' because of the electrostatic discharge. I dont think you should worry about it, but if ur PC is not grounded then i recommend that u should see to that.

well if it sparked then some thing gave for sure --just coz it runs does not mean the issue did nto come up ---

i would not use the rig with that UPS at all ---repaired ups --are u for real ....over current can kill hardware , remove the stuff from the casing and inspect each item throughly if spark did happen there must be some signs of it

Seems static
Disassemble all the hardware. Clean the dust seperately on each item and case.
Spark might also be due to poor power connector or PciE
It can also come through PSU.
