Got Fariya installed extra speed!!!!!!

So guys I recently got Fariya installed in my home in Karsaz. So I thought that the 4Mbps package would not be ideal for me but it is the only reliable option available here.I got the 4Mbps package for 1100Rs which is good.But i dont think that my internet connection is right the pings and speed are too good.This is not me complaining but rather confused as to how i am getting it. It has been a month and everything is consistent. So can anyone explain to me how this is happening and if it is fine?

I have been using this FARIYA SERVICE since 6 years in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, at the back side of National Stadium.
You are checking your speed on a mobile through wifi router(hub), I would like to tell you that if they are giving you proper 4mbps then you will get a total speed of 1.2MB on IDM premium link with all 32 links opened already and even in upload the same speed you will get, but for that you have to connect the main wire to your laptop or PC LAN card.

4 / 8 = 1.2 MB/sec on IDM <<<<<< this is not official 4mbps this is what we get on fariya IDM mostly

That is the total speed you will get according to the networking rules.

I would like to say that Fariya is the cheapest ISP of karachi which gives you reliable connection and speed, I am a big fan of Fariya.

[MENTION=133030]Munaim2015[/MENTION] a 4mbps (4096kbps) connection will give 512kBps maximum speed. According to netwrking rules, 1 byte = 8 bit
So 4096 kilo bit = 512 kilo byte = 0.5 mega byte

You look like you follow a completely different 'networking rule set' as opposed to the rest of the world.

First you should consider yourself as an illiterate(JAHIL) because I am not following any rule, the whole world is running on this rule because this is the MAIN AND OFFICIAL RULE of an internet speed a value which will be divided by 8.
Secondly, I have been using fariya for more than 5 years and I know that they sometimes increase bandwidth to attract user but still it doesn't mean that fariya is giving proper 4 MB, there is even a big difference between MB and Mb, I have already done CCNA and CCNP so you should not tell me what is right and what is wrong in internet and speed.

And yes again 4 MB means total 4 MB and which means you will get 4 MB on your IDM downloading premium link and if you are not getting total 4 MB then it means you have a link of 4 Mbps which means 4/8 = 0.5MB/sec and even if you are getting more than 0.5 then its not a big deal because Yes fariya provides more speed than its official meaning which is 0.5MB/sec, so if you are getting more than 0.5MB/sec then it does not make you a king its because of fariya but still GOOGLE it for your info that 4MBPS and 4Mbps meaning and the formula of dividing the value by 8, and then start brushing your teeth after that because your MOUTH stinkssssssssss!!!!!!!

The reason why I have written 4/8 = 1.2MB/sec is that fariya gives this speed to me to make more users of whatever their policy is and everyone is getting 1.0 or 1.2MB/sec at a link of 4Mbps from fariya.

But yes your mouth and your math and everything stinks, because above you said a 4mbps (4096kbps) <<< that is right but I mentioned it earlier the speed on IDM PREMIUM LINK downloading, IDM never shows the speed in kbps, it shows in KB/sec and your so called maths 4096/8 = 512KB/sec on IDM premium link, if you have some proof that your maths is correct and you are getting total 4MB on IDM link then plzz show me a screenshot.

I am using Fariya too. Brother you are experiencing double on bandwidth. It usually happens between 3am to 11am. I usually torrent entire drama series or movies in this specific time period. it take 15 to 20 minutes to download 1 GB.

Yes night time usually 3 to 11 in the morning. we get double speed.
