Gfx Card is not working when login to window

Asalam Alaikum!


My Gfx card (Radeon R7 250) stops working. As soon as I put a password and login into windows it screens go blank (light green). After removing gfx card, pc is working fine. Can this gfx card be repaired or any solution to fix it?

if it's not repairable then please suggest me new but simple gfx card (no used) as I m not into pc gaming at all, I just want it to run my pc smoothly.

I've chosen these two and ur recommendation is highly appreciable

OPTION 1 (Gigabyte GV-N710D5-2GL) - Rs, 8500

OPTION 2 (MSI Radeon RX 460) - Rs 10,900

Boot in safe mode and remove everything via DDU. Then restart and reinstall driver. After that if the issue still persists then downclock your GPU thru MSI afterburner

it was successful experiment to remove amd gfx driver via DDU and logged in to windows but after installing drivers the same problem has been occurring. I've tried it 2x times but in vain.

After that if the issue still persists then downclock your GPU thru MSI afterburner

Did you try using older drivers that came with the GPU or one that worked last time. Disable windows automatic driver installation.

yes bro i had tried this too but in vain. Anyhow, I was able to run my pc using gfx card display with low resolution... but I didn't like to watch anything in low resolution at all (less than 1920 x 1080).

Seems like an issue with one of your gfx card memory chips. Its logical that when you log into OS, it starts loading data into your gpu's memory until it reaches the bad one. Or this could be an issue with the gpu chip itself. If you're in karachi i can diagnose it for you
