Hi Pakgamers,
A brief background, I have never been a PC gamer however due to my passion for aviation, I intend to buy a machine for MS Flight Simulator 2020. I intend to play it in Full HD (won't be moving towards the 4K side as of yet).
I have two options:-
1. Get a gaming Laptop (Razer/MSI/Alienware) something with a RTX 2070 or RTX 3070 8 GB and an i7 intel chip.
Pros:
-All in one package
-Can be easily brought from US/Dubai (easy to carry)
Cons:
-Might not be future proof after 2023 (considering I only intend to run Flight Simulator 2020)
-EXPENSIVE as hell
2. Custom Built PC with an AMD or Intel Chip and an RTX 2080 Ti or RTX 3080.
Pros:
-Cheaper (or I can get a better CPU & GPU for the equivalent price of a laptop)
-Futureproof and easy to upgrade
-Better cooling performance
Cons
-Zero experience in gaming PCs. Like assembling it.etc is too much work.
-Want to avoid bottle-necks (a ready-made laptop/pc ensures its optimised)
-Zero Tech Savy-ness to check heating/cooling paste.etc issues
What should I do? If I invest 300-350K in a gaming PC or 400-450K in a gaming laptop. What do you guys suggest? I just find it a bit off to spend 400K+ on a gaming machine lol. Please guide a noob gamer out
