Writing my name in your lists doesn’t mean I approve of it


Rules to change hote rehte hain. For instance, CerebralTiger never considered Joystick awards prestigious enough. Wonder who CerebralTiger is referring to in his OP

  • The Game Awards
  • Annual Interactive Achievement Awards / DICE Awards
  • Game Developers Choice Awards
  • British Academy of Film and Television Arts

Joystick awards started including the critic's choice award from 2015. The Ultimate GOTY award is based on public voting and therefore couldn't be considered in prior years. The rules didn't change; I just hadn't made a GOTY thread between 2015-2019

If you have any reservations regarding the list named after you, feel free to share them

I mean, ultimately even for TGA the outcome is influenced by public voting (10%). Who knows which year that 10% made all the difference?
