Hey there guys, so a friend of mine got enough marks in Nust's Entrance test to get into Civil and Mechatronics Engineering. He basically wanted to go into Mechanical engineering but as per last year's merit; He might not be able to get into it. With regards to interest the guy likes physics (all sorts of theoretical (Electrical) and applied aswell (Mechanical))..He does not want to pursue civil so the only option he is left with is Mechatronics for now. I want to ask what is the job market (demand) of Mechatronics inside and outside of Pakistan and what does the future hold for mechatronics engineers? Moreoever I have heard that instead doing mechatronics engineering one should pursue either completely electrical engnieering or completely mechanical engineer because one "has" to specialize in some field after doing mechatronics anyway, how true is this statement? And what other aspects can you tell regarding mechatronics engineering (job demand, growth, market, Course curriculum of degree, Anything related to mechatronics)...Please help me, I will be extremely thankful to you :)
