i will be buying the ultimate edition of the game on pc just wanted to know what the cost would be with TAX also would like to know how the play anywhere works ? how will i be able to play on my xbone after buying on pc ?

Yeah that tax is high - but if this is the first time you're buying - then change your state to Florida as I read that FL tax is low.

Not sure how much tax is (if any) if you're region is Pakistan and not US.


As for play anywhere. You can purchase the digital game from any location [Amazon, Microsoft store, Windows Store, Xbox Dashboard etc] and you get exclusive content vary depending on it.

Exclusive content include a modified version of one of the cars from the game (Amazon has the 2016 Audi R10 and XBOX dashboard has the Mercedes C63 AMG for example). Some retailers such as Microsoft store also has $10 gift card. So look around for the best deal.

Once you purchase the game, you should be able to download a ~3MB file as a 'preload' on Windows PC and the complete game can be downloaded on your Xbox (I'm currently downloading it on my console).

Your game progress is saved and shared across both platform, so you can basically pick up where you left off if you switch platform. Though I'd avoid switching back and forth as I recall Horizon 2 would take quiet some time syncing progress between consoles. I guess the experience would be the same switching between PC and Console.


The only thing that you need to make sure of for play anywhere is:

• Windows 10 ID is the same as your Xbox One ID.
• You can only play on either of the platform one at a time. That is, you can not log in on Xbox one and play the game while running it on the PC simultaneously.

Is anyone playing the Demo on the Xbox One?!

My feedback on the demo:

Game is very similar to Horizon 2 when it comes graphics and game play. This is not really a bad thing as the Horizon 2 was very pretty and car handling was extremely fun. I just hope they notch up the graphics a little on the PC counterpart.
The map is definitely bigger and the environment is rich. There are animals, breakable trees, water puddles etc. All of the stuff you didn't see in Horizon 2. You can also honk now, which means we can drive the Pakistani way and honk at everything

The 'drone mode' is fun, you can move around a live environment without pausing gameplay.
Overall, I feel the game has only gotten better, but is the change enough to call it a Horizon 3? I'm not sure. Horizon 2 looked very similar to Horizon 1 on the xbox 360 but the Xbox one version was a whole new game. Similar is the case with Horizon 2 and 3 on the Xbox One. I'm not banking on ultra graphics for the PC but maybe when the Scorpio release nears up next year, they might add up something special for it.... maybe... very hopeful thought though lol.

Can't help but feel a little jealous going through Pre Order bonus for other retailers.

Take for example - the physical edition of the Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition comes in Steel Bookcase. Sadly, a physical copy of the game means that it is Xbox exclusive and doesn't support 'Play anywhere'

I'm not done yet - Gamespot or similar retailers are also giving a away a 1:43 scale model of the Lamborghini Centenario on top of the retailer exclusive DLC car :O

Yup got the Ultimate edition for my pc finally going to able to play Forza Horizon on an Ultrawide monitor its going to be Glorious

Btw any idea when the preload is going live for the pc version ?

No idea dude... they better hurry with it. Right now its only a 3mb file... still need to download 60GB of it dammit lol!

the multiplayer scene of Horizon 2 wasnt so impressive at launch which is why i have been trying to hold out on purchasing this but dammit! the temptation is real especially given i can play it on PC. I really hope its a good port

Try Forza Apex on the PC. Runs like a dream...

Can't say much about MP but they will have Co-op and you can level up pretty quickly.
