FoodPanda is shit

I've been ordering from FoodPanda since a while now, and I'm done with their pathetic service. I'd rather deal with banned PG member "gamer world" rather than deal with FoodPanda's shitty service again. Their service is THAT bad. It's horrible. Absolutely trash.

1. Their app/website is buggy as hell. Restaurants keep appearing and disappearing randomly.
2. The timings on their app/website is always inaccurate & the food always arrives late. Often it takes twice or thrice as long.
3. Sometimes the order gets cancelled after a while & you have to place a new order & start waiting again.
4. Their riders almost never have change money with them
5. Food is never at right temp. Hot meals are lukewarm, and cold drinks are room temp.
6. Their customer service staff is pathetic & never gives proper responses.
7. Even monkeys can run better delivery service than these guys.

I just really hate their service & wanted to vent my anger.

I used to do that before. Problem with that is that every time you order from a new place, you have to guide them your address. With foodpanda, you just make an account once with your address & just order from anywhere you want. It is much more convenient in that sense.

But as i mentioned in the OP, the actual quality of their service is very poor. So it seems i have to go back to the old-fashion way of doing the task anyway.

It also depends on the restaurant itself, if they end up delaying your order etc. Ive mostly had a smooth experience with foodpanda and the order arrives within their given time limit. The temperature of the food depends on how far the restaurant is from the delivery address, traffic etc. Though the riders without change thing is something I frequently have to contend with too and ive probably lost a couple thousand rupees given the number of times Ive had to say "bas theek he aap rakh lein 50 rupay". At the same time, ive noticed that the restaurants send their own riders, not foodpanda hired delivery guys. I guess the app just acts a middle man. Which isnt all that it advertises itself as but oh well.

There are two types of restaurants on Foodpanda. Those that offer their own delivery service, and those that use Foodpanda's delivery service.

Foodpanda's own pathetic delivery performance can't be blamed on the restaurant.

2 years back i remember i ordered with them and it was mild raining they take the order and after 30 mins they say its raining we are cancelling the order they keep on doing to my 2 to 3 orders and then learned not to do it again that was my first and last experience

this restaurant in lahore actually kinda roasted foodpanda

its actually foodpandas riders now which deliver if you order via foodpanda and only some restaurants use their own riders. fps riders are slow on reaching the restaurant hence the cold food or hot drinks
