Final Fantasy XIV - subscription costs

Hey guys,
Wanted to know what the costs are if you pay for FFXIV while in Pakistan. The online pricing I could find is generally in dollars, and I'm not even sure what currency we will have to pay for in Pakistan.

My steam currency is Dollars, however since we are on the EU region, it could also be euro or gbp?

So questions:

1. Game purchased on steam: How much does subscription cost (and what currency).
2. Game purchased on steam: How much do retainers cost?
3. Game purchased on square enix official: How much does subscription cost (and what currency)
4. Game purchased on square enix official: How much do retainers cost?

You might be able to buy the game on steam but for monthly subscription you need to pay square Enix directly .there is no difference in buying the game be it steam or square Enix .if you buy it on steam and your steam account is on Europe region .you will get eu region game . Normally it charges you in. Euro if you buy eu region and paying for it from Pakistan .

I pay 1734 RS every month including an extra retainer. Without one it would probably be around 1600 but mine is in euro since pings to american data centers are higher so I play in EU/JP centers.

Side note, never buy the game on steam, buy it off the SE website.

Why do you say that? I believe the subscription prices should go down on steam because of how steam regional pricing works?
