Thanks for the recommendation. I believe Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII world is the best of all the FF worlds.

Playing the PSP version. I want to experience the original game as it looks not much different than the remaster.

If it were a remake I would have bought it. But remasters don't capture the authentic look.

PSP was a stellar portable. Sony should have continued it. Switch games don't look as good as this.

Co-director Motomu Toriyama was asked about his favorite role-playing games, outside of the Final Fantasy series, in an interview published in the Game Informer Magazine, and he supposedly named CD Projekt Red's seminal fantasy game without a second thought. Though Geralt's third adventure isn't just a personal favorite for Toriyama - it apparently influenced Rebirth's whole approach to side quests.

"Regarding titles like The Witcher 3, which has that open-world role-playing type element, we did some extensive research into these types of titles," Toriyama explains. The Witcher 3 was then studied "as a baseline" and Rebirth aims to "stand alongside it and have the type of content that would be satisfying to its players."

They're talking about side quests, which were pretty good from a narrative context in TW3. God forbid the day anyone takes inspiration from that game's combat system

Also, Necrokiller still clinging to TW3 to prove CD Projekt's worth, when the ppl who made it what it was are no longer at the studio. Yikes!

And Cyberpunk 2077 devs went on to revolutionize first person perspective in game that has sold more than any Sony game ever made whereas Witchhhhaaa 3 continues to exert its influence on the industry almost a decade later in CerebralTiger's fav franchise. CDPR stays winning

I have completed about 25% of Crisis Core and enjoying the game so far.

The gameplay is not as good as FFVII. But the story is epic.
