I recently applied for a fiberlink connection and maybe I'm just unlucky but all I have been seeing are negative reviews post-applying. Prior to that I saw so many positive reviews. I'm scared now.

Positive and Negative points of Fiberlink:
1)it takes a lot of Time for New Connection(1 to 3 months or maybe 6) and you need to call them continuously for it.
2)if your connection is working Great then it will continue to work.
3)If your connection is damaged or you observe any downloading issue or slow Net then it will take a lot of Time for fixing it.How?
3a)Their customer service is worse or you may say they don't have any.
3b)They will continue to replace your router until your problem fixes and it costs lot of time because they don't replace it daily.
3c)sometimes because of router fault your connection continue to DC for 3 to 5 days per month or per 15 days.
4)it is only available in limited area.
5)It's not a scam but their employees are lazy enough that you feel maybe you have been scammed after paying in Advance.
6)The internet doubles from 2 AM to 9 AM and this point is exactly correct.
Thats all.

Fiberlink speeds are highly throttled.

Perform a speedtest on UK, USA, Singapore etc. You wouldn't even get 20% of the advertised speeds.

Fiberlink connection will show you 100% speed on Pakistani speedtest servers.

Avoid Fiberlink!

Better get PTCL VDSL, it's support and service is 1000 times better.

Fiberlink will disconnect many times and will show you red light.

If you do not believe me, join the Fiberlink Users whatsapp group, you will see it by yourself!

I applied on 26-April-18 and yesterday ( 1-jul-18 ) they came and did cabling from pole to my desk.
They will active internet in few days 2-3 as there were some issues with the machines ( as the guy said from fibernet cabling team )

Few things i want to add:

- One thing which is very important to know that from nearast pole to your home they are using "VERY THIN Wire" which if you bend it a little it will break and your connection will be inactive.
- I'm not sure if they provide router on connection installation or not as the guy who was doing cabling asked if you have TP-Link Router or not.

Once i get my connection up and running i'll update you guys with every possible results.

Wait a month as its their policy it will take min 30 takes does not matter if your neighbor already have fiberlink, they wont install it in few days or week. Minimum 30 days as per their team member said.

Is that wire a thin yellow cable with a plastic connector that plugs in at your end because if it is, then thats a patch cord that is not meant for anything other than to connect a media converter to an ONT inside your house. It should most def not be used outside.

Bascially what they doing is, installing normal fiber optic cable ( its like cable tv wire ) from pole to pole, if someone wants a connection in that area, they will connect a very thin cable from pole to your home, its like hair, so thin and insulation is not very good.
i talked to there guy about it, he said we are Only using this thin wire from nearast pole extension to clients home ( gpon router on your computer desk), because it helps reducing cost.

Here is my review so far,
trust me Fiberlink is amazing, im using basic package ( 16mbps ), i first thought of upgrading it to 50mbps, but honestly i dont feel like i need 50mbps. 4k videos, watching twitch at source, i also tried streaming on youtube/twitch with 16mbps, it worked fine with 720p 60fps.

About downlaod speed, it sticks on 2.0 Mb/s. Got 4.0 Mb/s from 2:30 am to 11 am.

lastly, major issue about fiberlink is only using that thin wire, because it can easily b bend or cut off, i got a situation where my wire got cut from nayatel guy when he was installing a connection, he causally bent and tapped it to next wire without knowing that its an fiber cable.

That thin wire is a patch cord and is only meant to connect your GPON Router to the media converter INSIDE your home, preferably under a desk or somewhere like that. The thick fiber cable (like the cable TV wire) is called the drop cable and thats supposed to enter your premises.

That is a very shitty way to reduce cost and will mean long term headaches for you. Replacing that wire every time it breaks is gonna cost a lot more than what it would take to bring the drop cable into your house. And its gonna translate into headaches for you when the wire breaks and no one shows up to replace it for days.

They used that thick fiber cable ( like the cable tv wire ) till pole, after that they used that thin wire cable from pole to my desk. luckly Pole is right next to my door.

Yea, thats the major down side of Fiberlink ISP.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
