PROS>
- clearly the winner in bass department (slightly loud in mids ,thats because theres no treble knob)
- 70w rms for 2.1 channel setup is perfect for any PC person (may not be a good option for big rooms, who want more of a surround setup)
- clearly the winner in price comparison with other 70w systems ( it delivers well)
- very good build & heavy woofer component , so fitting dem in closed areas is not a gud option
- has external volume (headphone/acc) dial (very attractive as can be seen in pic
- rubberized padding for slippery surfaces
- red led on/off switch indicator.
CONS >
- NO TREBLE control, is a big drawback i saw & noticed even b4 purchasing the item & i had overseen it.. regretting it slightly, as i have to go to controls of player to balance the treble output (winamp/realplayer etc)
- volume/bass knobs are @ the back of woofer (as u can see from my setup, its hard to reach everytime to adjust it)
- mids are not too clear & high range , the pitch of some bass driven songs can be overlapping like 2 drums beating simultaneously, so u cant tell the difference between the subtle bass & heavy bass
Ranking >
- sound 8.5/10
- clarity (treble) 7.5/10
- peak performance (not burned in yet) 8/10
- bass 8.5/10
- build 10/10
- packaging (not important ,but IS when being shipped ) 10/10
CONCLUSION > A SOLID 8
