Electrical Engineering from NUST vs GIKI vs PIEAS

[FONT=&quot]Need university advice. Out of PIEAS, NUST, and GIKI, which is the best engineering university, in terms of employment opportunities, as well as prospects of doing Masters abroad? I have gotten admission in GIKI (Electrical Engineering), NUST merit list comes out at the start of August and hopefully I would be selected at SEECS, and so is the case with PIEAS.
Which university has the best Electrical engineering course?

Out of all these, GIKI I believe has the best campus life although it's best known for it's mechanical program. I'd suggest NUST.
PIEAS from what I heard is good too, but cannot say much.

SEECS graduate here. SEECS used to be pretty good but most of the top faculty has now left unfortunately. Majority of them went to ITU. Apart from academics, since NUST is huge so you will get to meet a lot of people.

Can't say much about PIEAS and GIKI.

I would vote for PIEAS.

Pros:
Faculty
Campus facilities
Hostel (also just 2 min walk from the campus)
Study plan which makes student well aware with research methodologies

Cons:
Location, but they do provide shuttle services
Campus life may seem boring



BTW i am a former student of the same (in sciences). Do make pros and cons list of the all three and then make choice.

Can't say tbh. But academics should not be the only choosing factor. Get feedback about campus life as well since you will be spending 4 years there.

My advice is wait for the admit decisions and once you know in which unis you got in, decide after that. No need to bang your head right now.

I think i would prefer PIEAS. Isn't PIEAS linked with KINPOE/KANUPP? I think pieas students may find it a little easier to get a job in kanupp.

PIEAS is associated with PAEC but it does not offer fellowships at Bachelors level. Yeah, but you are right, i think, it would be easier to get Fellowship at PIEAS for masters.
