Elder Scrolls Online - Is it worth it?

Im new to the MMO genre but am a big fan of the Elder Scrolls series so wanted to know if Elder Scrolls Online is worth buying. Its for $9.99 on steam summer sale so i was thinking of picking it up.

Let me know if your have played it and if its any good.

Nah man, go for Guild Wars 2, you can play it for free with some (very light) restrictions and see for yourself if you like it then you can upgrade your account or keep playing free forever.
