Elden Ring [OT] Shadow of the Erdtree expansion announced











"As somebody who's played all of Miyazaki's games over at least the last decade, this is clearly the most ambitious game that he's done," he says. "I mean, I love his games, but seeing some of the gameplay mechanics stuff that he's tackling, he and the team are tackling this time, of the setting, working with another creator in terms of story. I love it."

The other creator Spencer mentions is, of course, Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin, who has worked on the story for the upcoming open world game.

According to Spencer, Elden Ring is Miyazaki "expanding his horizons." He also says that leaves the room while Spencer plays. "I think that's because I'm a bad player, and then when he comes back we'll have a conversation about things that I think," he says. "He's so passionate about what he does. It's one of the things I just love about getting to work with him on some of these games and seeing them come to our platform."

This is exactly what I want from From Software. Breaking away from the tired Souls formula got us Sekiro so this sounds great. Really hope we get to see gameplay soon.

I have pretty much combed through every nook and cranny of Limgrave, Liurnia and Caelid. And will now go through the Atlus Plateau next. 60 hours in the game and at level 90, it is astounding how fresh the game still feels every time i pick the controller up.

Also, just finished the Eternal City of Nokron side quest. It is just mind boggling to see that Fromsoft would put such a huge map as a completely missable side quest. And its just not about the size of that area, the sheer beauty of Nokron is just stunning.

Also also, General Radhan... Oye hoye.. maza aa gaya bhai.

The way this game keeps expanding its map is kinda mind blowing. It has its fair share of repetition in design, by no means a perfect open world, but still manages to surprise you.
OH YES... Everytime I think that this has to be the end of it and BOOM the game blasts you with another gigantic area to explore.

It was so hard, but i intentionally stayed away from videos or pictures that had the whole map and I am glad i did that. Part of the fun is getting completely surprised by the enormous (and sometimes overwhelming) scale of this game.

・Fixed a bug that sometime prevented players from advancing NPC Nepheli Loux’s questline
・Fixed a bug that causes the playable character to die when trying to descend from a spot near Bestial Sanctum
・Fixed a bug that prevented Ash of War, Endure from taking effect
・Fixed a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates

Some bosses in this game are truly bakwas bad set of moves on them.Melee build is hardest IMO cant take down Radahn with it one shot me even at 70+ level in his phase 2 no previous fromsoft game was throwing this type of bullshit on me.Sekiro was mind blowing master the sword and u are good to go in this many mini bosses are tougher than bigger ones which kept me scraching my head.

Melee build is hardest IMO
Yup going with melee alone is certainly the hard-hard mode for this game. I am actually going with a hybrid build with a moonveil and Renala's staff and max points in INT. I primarily use the moonveil since melee is much more enjoyable for obvious reasons but the staff does help in situations where fights might end up frustrating you. For me, this is just the perfect combination and if you are getting frustrated then i would suggest respecing into a mage build too. Sorcerery certainly is the easy way out for alot of fights, relatively speaking.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
