Downloaded IPTV APK with PTCL's Smart TV ???

Hello guys,

I have recently subscribed to PTCL's Smart TV device. As there is access to Chrome Browser, I downloaded a couple of renowned IPTV apps like LIVENETTV along with Blokada (Ad Blocker ) to block ads in the commercials. I don't see any degradation in the quality of Pakistani channels by PTCL. I have a couple of questions please:

1) Is it legal to use these apps? I am asking this because the permission to install them is enabled by default.
2) Will ad blocker like Blokada can change the router settings at my house or at PTCL's servers or do any mischievous stuff? I check apk with renowned AV before installing them, so there is no issue with them being malware.

Are the apps working fine? When I tried installing an apk, it wasn't letting me install anything.

Yup. They all are working fine with full HD quality. I have the newer STB with Android 7.1

Have they upgraded the device? I have this ptcl STB device
and the picture quality is definitely not even 720P. Also the device is slows AF.

the quality and content is superb here. I have even downloaded some apk for live tv and movies/tv shows and they also plays.

what is the model ? I have the one with android 4.4 and installation was blocked, how come its allowed in the newer STB ??

upgrade to the newer one on which there is a button on top. Plus it has android 7.2

Can you share the modem settings you have for IPTV?

My friend's PTCL Smart TV's Set Top Box has a bootloop since yesterday. I personally checked, there is no reset button on the device. Is there a way to hard reset it ? or does he have to wait for the tech person to replace it with a new one?​

How much it cost per month to use only PTCL smart tv?
I am not using any kind of Ptcl service and interested to apply for smart tv only for my new HD LED Tv?
Also can you share HD channels list.

    why you are paying american rates in Pakistan. Search cheaper region like Turkey. 13k for 13 months. Ms does not care
