Dota 2 Reborn --- Are we all moving there?

I was just wondering, if we will eventually have to move to dota 2 reborn. Has anyone tried it? Is it going to be official client for dota 2?

Its a new engine! Dota 2 had been using world of warcraft engine (same for dota 1).

Dota 2 reborn is a brand new engine running dota 2. Improved graphics and all.

I wasnt sure if valve was going to make it official.

Well I have installed it and tried it. The new interface looks really sleek and awesome. Also, custom games are a godsend. They are so much fun. Stuff like 10v10 games, Pudge wars, Skillshot, Dota soccer etc. But pings aren't good on them so far, mainly since most of the servers aren't that near Pakistan. Plus, since there is no penalty on custom games, people leave all the time and you hardly ever get a proper match. Still, when it happens, its loads of fun.

As for the graphics, I literally haven't noticed any improvements aside from the water, which looks a bit better. Maybe they haven't implemented the graphical overhaul yet.

dotA uses WoW's old engine.
DOTA 2 uses Source engine.
DOTA 2 Reborn uses Source 2 engine.

From what I've seen, Source 2 greatly improves performance over Source engine.

Apart from the interface and new game options I haven't noticed any difference in graphics, maybe that's just me
