Getting 350 ping to SGP2 while ping to SGP1 remains stable, happening for a few days nows. [MENTION=11094]StrikerX[/MENTION]

Odd, I am getting 100

There are 2 clusters right ? Sgp1 and Sgp2, Sgp1 is fine, but on SGP2 I get 350 and sometimes it goes back to 120.

I get a request time out after many pings to google.com in cmd prompt , which causes a lag disconnection in Dota , any solution to that ?

Ehh I don't have a Nayatel connection. I've always had a PTCL one. If I've ever referenced Nayatel its because a number of my friends have it.

Also day time pings have been crap yesterday and today.

That would be great
For windows: open command prompt, type in (w/o quotes) "tracert dxb.valve.net"
For Linux/OS X: open terminal, type in (w/o quotes) "traceroute dxb.valve.net"

I'm just curious why I lag if someone uses the internet while I'm playing Dota. I only have a 1mb connection but even if someone tries to use whatsapp I start to lag.

Dota uses almost 25-30 kbps and that leaves around 70+ kbps free for use. I'm just curious that why do I lag when someone uses the internet (gets annoying at times)

Pretty simple really doto needs upload as well. Since you have a 1mbps connection, your Max upload is either 256kbps or 384kbps. So when someone uses the internet, they need a bit of upload as well and then you're constrained.

So me and couple more of my friends who are using PTCL are getting high pings for about 4-5 days now(basically since metro started, coincidence?). Anyway so its totally random, one second its fine like 200 to EUW and 150 to SEA the next it goes 300 to EUW and 230 to SEA. Its spiking a lot and I'm frankly tired of this shit. Anyone know if Nayatel/Micronet will give phone line internet to my area that has overhead wiring? Do they still offer that?

my pings using PTCL are

80-100 ms for SE Asia servers
140-190 ms for Dubai servers

Call the helpline and register a complain. Should be fixed in 2-3 working days. Happend to me once I was getting downlod speeds of 4mb while I have a 8mb connection. I called and complained , they have mistakenly put me in a 4mb cloud.
