CerebralTiger can't be trusted when it comes to shooter combat anyway, especially first person 😂
For a game targeting 60 fps, a delta of 16.6 ms is acceptable, stutter is not 🤜
For a game targetting 60fps, frame rates in the 40s are bad for input latency (regardless of frame time delta) and the motion smoothness suffers without VRR as well, so no, it not acceptable in several ways. And that's just one of the reasons I don't take CerebralTigers view on performance seriously 🤷‍♂️😂

Competitive shooters khelta nahi Necrokiller, aur claims check karo 🤷‍♂️

Frame time is what determines input latency. Frame rate is derived from frame time anyway lol. When one version spikes from the intended frame time delivery of 16.6 ms to 50 ms and the other version spikes to 33.3 ms, the input latency is lower on the latter. Go back to school math ke teacher :ROFLMAO:

Input latency is way worse in a game running at a lower frame rate for longer period of time than during a spike. Sadly, common sense is a not a subject that we can teach CerebralTIger 🤣

Battlefield 2024 pre-order tou ki thi. What were the playtime stats, then? 🤷‍♂️

The difference in frame rate isn't "way worse" here to begin with, so not sure how the failed math teacher came to this conclusion :ROFLMAO:

A spike to 50 ms will be visible and felt as a micro-pause, which is far worse 🤜

More than CerebralTiger's playtime stats in Splatoon 3 and Animal Crossing combined 🤷‍♂️🤣

15fps difference for a longer period is way worse than a momentary spike 🤷‍♂️:ROFLMAO:

And stuttery( juddery pick your poison) motion will be visible when VRR isn't working either 🤷‍♂️🤣

CD Projekt's games have always suffered from a disconnect between the state of urgency that is established in their main story and the chill af side activities.

Geralt: I must find Ciri asap
Also Geralt: care for a game of Gwent?

V: I need to find Alt Cunningham or my memory will get wiped out
Also V: hey Panam, let's go have some fun in the desert

Witcher 3's expansions were better structured in this regard coz there wasn't as much urgency to their main quests. Will the same be true for Phantom Liberty? 🤷‍♂️

After all, CD Projekt does f*ck around, as per game designer Pawel Sasko :ROFLMAO:

That's like.....applicable to every fucking game. And CDPR is unparalleled when it comes to world building 🤜😂

Gwent to optional hai, mat khelo 😂

But how about an Eikon battle followed by doing mundane PS2 era fetch quest shit in FFXVI? Or fucking gathering Korok seeds in Zelda or useless shrines with useless rewards 🤦‍♂️😂

RDR2 "suffers" from this too and CerebralTiger considers it a masterpiece 🤜😂

Really, if this is the level of complaints left then you know CerebralTiger has ran out of shit to complain about 😂🤷‍♂️

Since Necrokiller likes quoting reviews 🤷‍♂️ 😆

I often felt like I was role-playing two different characters: one V for the side quests and one more limited V for the main story.

That's mostly because the main story puts you on a clock. It's not literally on a timer, but it is very urgent in the way that RPG stories often are, and it has the same pitfalls as a result. It feels weird to do throwaway fun stuff when you have a serious, ever-present threat to attend to, and in V's case, it just doesn't make sense to dally.

You have more freedom to play the character you really want to during side activities, but main-story V has clearly defined priorities. I often couldn't find the character I'd been developing via side quests when I returned to the main plot--not in how I'd been shaping her personality as she reacted to events, nor in the hacker I built as she was forced into more traditional boss fights.

Still doesn't explain how an 86 scoring game with 17 perfect scores is "mid" in CerebralTiger's book? 🤷‍♂️😂

But wo sab choro...What I wanna know is, which competitive, or heck, even single player shooter (let alone an RPG) has the same level of versatility in combat? You can slide (slide cancel), dash, dash mid-air, slow motion, player controlled ricochet bullets, shoot through objects, curve bullets around objects to target different parts of the enemy's body, high jump/double jump, cloak, stealth kill and carry bodies, stealth kill and hide bodies in a singular motion, shoot while carrying bodies, full melee combat with light attack, heavy attack, blocking, parrying, lunge attack, aerial kills, dozens of perks and abilities which alter/enhance these base skills, then there is hacking seamlessly integrated with all this gunplay/melee combat. Cool AF mantis blades, katanas, mono wire, gorilla arms, projectile launcher. All supported by satisfying to shoot weapons with great hit reactions, punchy audio/visual feedback, fluid character movement, dynamic and seamless cover system in the most dense open world ever created.....bhae please koi comparison hai to jaldi bataooo I wanna play it ASAP! 🤜😂

Necrokiller needs to figure out whether he wants to give more importance to metascores or perfect scores awarded from Metacritic certified publications 🤷‍♂️ 😆

Most of these mechanics are poorly realized and clunky. I especially laughed hard at "fluid character movement" :ROFLMAO:

Goddamn that long range knife kill + knife kill during a slide + double jump into an aerial kill combo 🤩

Goddamn the constant dashing to dodge the turret then ripping it apart to use as a weapon 🤩

Still waiting for CerebralTiger to tell me which shooter can match all these slick abilities 🤷‍♂️

sooooooooooooooo reinstalled Cyberpunk yesterday..

After I stopped playing at launch due to the constant crashes and bugs..

Lets enjoy the game as it was intended.

Though, I wonder if its worth waiting a couple of months for Phantom liberty to arrive

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
