CS [Skills]

Okay.
Most of us here at PG are well aware of the market and are the students of CS. Many of them passed out and some are still studying from various universities.
I'm also one of them from the 4th semester. I've been already upto newspaper, various ads of their demanding skills.
As everyone of us knows that University doesn't teach you skills, it's yourself to learn them for your own future.
Since my concentration from the first day was on CS - Programming and I've also been in Graphics Designing. I've been going through UI designing and so, looked at the ad in PG as they are looking for interns for C# and there were also some demands which we don't learn in university. Where to learn them? Internet? I need guidance in programming field what to learn from to onwards mainly Mobile Application development and Desktop Application development.
Don't just mention the languages, I want further details.
Help will be highly apprecited.

There are so many tutorials on Internet where you can learn this and also there are some good books which help you very much in your basic learning in programming. Go for Head First books this books are very easy to understand and they will build up your basic knowledge in programming. After that you will go for some advance books which will be easy to understand after HEAD FIRST BOOKS

If i want to learn any skill.. i would go for udemy or coursera.
And yeah I select the paid courses on udemy when they are on sale because they are deeply covered.. there are so many courses on mobile app development on udemy.. even so many are free of cost. Coursera fees are not affordable to me so i just applied for financial aid and got registration though
Good thing about coursera is that their courses contain a capstone project and assignments quizes and and the best thing is you will get a certificate.. I hope it helps..
