PC Creative Assembly Confirms Shogun 2: Total War

Having spent much of the past several years in Europe, the Total War series of strategy games is going back to where it all began.
Confirming rumors that have been floating around over the past several weeks, Creative Assembly has officially announced Shogun 2: Total War.

According to hands-on impressions from IGN, the sequel will have a number of new features, including hero units and a greater focus on story elements. Features introduced in Empire like naval warfare will also be making a return.

Shogun 2 is reportedly still in pre-alpha, so don't expect to see it on shelves until well into 2011. In the meantime, expect more info at E3.

its time they announced another total war game , creative assembly is one of the best strategy game developers

and now with shogun we can play with Chinese and Japanese era, pretty cool
