can you detach the unnecessary cables from this PSU.

there are some models from which you can detach the unnecessary cables and attach only the ones you need.

while there are other models with all the cables fixed, and you can not detach the cables,

those are modular PSU's , NON - modular psu's have cables fixed and non removable

No, this specific PSU model does not come in a modular version (the one you are talking about), it is non-modular (meaning you cannot detach unnecessary cables).

And yes, I do have the packing for the PSU.
