I recommend people wait and see. Also consider that you have to pay hefty fees for installation. CAT6 cables are expensive you know?

Can anyone from Gulistan e Johar-Block 16 confirm this news please? Is it available here?
And what about the activation charges?

Re: Connect introduces new packages

That is if you get those awesome speeds. There is still a question mark about that. Anyone can promise the world for pennies but how many actually deliver?
My cousin uses connect and r4fay does too. Both of them repeatedly get more than what they pay for.
The only thing stopping me from getting connect right now is that I haven't yet heard of anyone using them in the PECHS area. Secondly, one of my main requirement is that connection should be on 24/7. That's the main reason I have stuck with Witribe even though they give 50% speeds of what they promised.

That's looks so good. Is their service available near bait ul muqarram masjid? block 19 gulshan just to be exact. They cover the whole pns karsaz and my friend always got high speeds from them.

Edit: Just saw their website, it says that all connections are not dedicated which means that they won't provide constant speed at all times.

I've also heard a lot of complaints about people not getting the speed they paid for because of the shared connection. Just check on their official facebook and see the comments.

Re: Connect introduces new packages

PTCL and any other major service provider also gives 'shared' service. I have already said that Witribe gives me 50% of the speed I pay for that is 1MBPS. Even then I get near 512-700KBPS most of the time. When I complain, they say shared service hai. So those who are under the illusion that they are getting unshared services drop those concepts!!

Every time you start the pc but it doesn't take long, just set the software to auto-connect on startup and set it to launch on startup and the internet will be ready to go(I know this because I used to have connect a few years ago at my old home).

Its shared Mean you will not get full 10mbps for 3000rupees that one connection is shared with many people.
But during peak times, if you share it with a lot of people, won't you be getting a fraction of the speed you pay for?

Don't know about the activation charges but when I used it, there was a software you had to use to log in. So, whenever a new PC would join the network, he'd have to use the software to log in. Again, I used the service over 5 years ago so this info maybe useless.
