Can I repair my Excel file?

While I was doing some working on it, suddenly my pc got restarted (maybe bcoz of virus), after restarting when I opened my excel file, it's saying this message as in the screenshot.
Plz help, I tried everything but couldn't repair it

Whats the file extension ?

make sure its .xl or xls or sumthng like dat

btw if you are trying to opening .xlsx file then you need ms ofice 2007 or compatibilty pack.

It's an excel file, yes it's extension is .xls.
I tried some 3 to 4 softwares by googling to repair my excel file but coudn't solve my problem.

try to convert the file into pdf by using some software utility.
you wont be able to open this in excel anymore.

your best option is to try all software which you find, if any work then try to find its crack, else try another and so.

Try many softwares brother but no software recovered my file, only the software that recommended me abobobilly, worked but still I can't save it.

Tell me something.... is the recovered file is fully recovered?? And after recovery, you are having trouble saving it?
If that is the case, why dont you copy the whole text from your document, make a new document and save it.
oh & this time, plz make a backup copy of your excel in OLD Excel format (Office 2002). This problem mostly occurs in the newer versions of Excel (i.e. 2007).

Yeah, file had been fully recovered but was not saving bcoz I used the demo version of the software.
And I can't copy anything from it, since the software is only showing it's recovered view in which u can't type, select and/or copy anything, software walay chalak hain salay

go file > open > select you file but instead of clicking open, click the arrow by the side and select open and repair. easy as pie.


and do upgrade to office 2007!
