Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Port Forwarding Problem

Hi, I'm trying from the past three days to port forward the Modern Warfare 3 dedicated server ports but still no luck for me. Using Tenda D840R ADSL2+ Router with PTCL broadband. Strange thing is that the same port that I want to forward for Modern Warfare 3 dedicated server applied to utorrent and do UPnP and NAT-PMP from utorrent software, the port was opened at that time, I didn't know how but then I close the utorrent application after that immediately port closed. I did port forward on my router and on windows 7 firewall but the port not working. Please do help me to solve this matter. :crying:

Bro one thing you must know:

If you have a wifi router connected to a modem, ports could almost never be forwarded. If there is a chance to forward ports in this way, 90% of the times the router will brick itself.

Its better if you would use only wired connection to PTCL Modem, and leave the WIFI for mobile and laptop devices.

Enable uPnP option in your Router.

UPnP is enabled on my router I double checked it. Yes one wifi router (TP-Link) is connected to the ADSL2+ Router through its port but my ADSL2+ router directly connected to my pc. Do i seperate the wifi from router or leave it as it is connected to my ADSL2+ router ? One thing is that I'm not using PTCL provided DSL modem, I'm using Tenda ADSL2+ D840R Router as it was mentioned on my first post.

Hi,

I have a similar problem..I have a Belkin wireless router which I have connected to my ptcl modem/router...Now, I need to open ports for COD mw3 to host my own dedicated server. Googling tells me that these ports must be open - 3074, 27000 - 27050...Can someone please explain how I may be able to do this?
