yeah i dont know where u heard that black ops will have dedicated servers. COD has always pretty much been peer to peer on consoles. Anyways Cant wait for the release date

i read somewhere that there wont be regional matchmaking on ps3 version but official us play station blog says otherwise.

Call of Duty: Black Ops will support regional matchmaking filters on a global scale. So, no matter where you’re at in the world, you will have the ability to specify whether you want to match with players from other geographical regions, or only those local to you. This will make communication and lag a much less intrusive variable on your gameplay experience.

Hey deceiver i already have you on my list, we will play together for sure, there are many other guys that will be playing pretty much all the time. We should set up a tourney clan scene a short while after. This may have been proposed before but im doing it anyways. Cant wait for it to get here though.

question to those who played world at war. it supported regional matchmaking, how were pings compared to MW2.

Not necessarily. I was merely talking about matchmaking. If you want to play with your friends you can simply invite them over or join them.
