Buying Tablet for Little Cousins

I want to buy two tablets for two cousins. Their ages are 10 and 8 years.
Their purpose would be playing subway surf, temple run, angry birds and similar games.
What should be best buy for them? I am considering some chinese stuff and that too in 7 inch size.

Anyone used or have any similar experience, please sharae and suggest some thing.

Yeah, but I thought it wouldn't seem nice to gift those chinese tabs to your cousins. But if thats fine to you, then yes they would suffice

I don't know about ainol tablet models much, but for children that age, any thing would do.

on topic get ainol crystal 2 @ 9200rs perfect for your requirement, my little cousin are using them and they are serving them quite well. Don't expect them to run heavy games as there gpu is quite weak.

good topic ... i was thinking about getting my son a chineese tab so that he can my s3 and his mum's galaxy young ... i was wondering which would be good option for him to play stupid angry birds and that subway surfer game

if I were you i don't follow the specs and features for kids instead the build quality.

And don't forget to get a screen protector and a case other wise it will be a brick in few days

seriously Crystal 2 is just pathetic... I used both Venus and Crystal 2 and my full voting is for Ainol Venus Quad-core.. reason below

1. Bigger internal memory (16gb vs 8gb)
2. Sound on Venus is much louder. Crystal 2 sound is too low
3. Venus has bigger battery
4. Venus is thinner and solid built with scratchless back
5. Venus is smoother than Crystal 2
6. Crystal 2 heats up more

both have laggy UI but in games both perform only good, not excellent but Venus performs better. don't expect hd games to run smooth on either but for 8-10yrs they do the job well


in end, I would advise in view of my personal experience to stay away from Crystal 2

If I am not wrong crystal 1 is even better then II due to crappy gpu in II or may be both have crappy gpu

Crystal one is better that's the reason despite theoretically better specs Crystal 2 still sells cheaper or same price of one..

^ here again Mali400MP proved its performance over vivante multicore

^ Exactly even Ainol Tab which have single core with Mali400 gpu performs lot better graphics wise as compared to Gc1000.

I owned Venus and my cousin has Crystal, by using both of them i feel like that Crystal 2 UI is less lagy may be due to its running on lower resolution as compared to venus. Price difference is of almost 3k between Crystal 2 and venus.

P.S venus got 4.2.2 official from Ainol.
