AOA,
What is the best way of receiving funds from USA to Pak
(Paypal+Payoneer) or direct bank wire?

I want to receive some amount of money from a remitter from the US here at Pak, Khi in the shortest time and the least of expense possible.

I understand about the paypal and payoneer program but i think it's not concrete. even the registering US address when signing into paypal has to be bias. later at the time of transfer from paypal to payoneer transaction charges will be cut down. Even after that payoneer will also cut charges every time a withdrawal via ATM is made (i have heard 1000Rs is expensed when 2000-3000 is withdrawn) + $29 activation yearly charges +Risk of card deactivation at any time = loss of the entire amount.

While bank wire or swift transfer may be a bit slow but is reliable ($30 or some are expensed on the transfer).

Actually the above are just some hypothetical finding i gathered around. I am looking forward to an expert advice from an expert individual who can explain the whole procedure and charges of both the (paypal+payoneer) and the bank wire program and about how can conclude a successful transaction in the least of time, cost and risk.

This is the first time i am 'receiving' some funds from the united states and i want to do it right.

Payoneer would be probably the best bet. I got Rs.96.71/$ in last ATM withdrawal (after all kind of taxes). I withdrew max amount (limited from paki banks) 20k & I was charges something around $207 on payoneer.

BTW I'm a freelancer as welk & want to clear one thing, you won't have to mess with paypal if you go with payoneer.

I am freelancing too, kindly explain what do you mean by ''you won't have to mess with paypal if you go with payoneer''?
as far as i no, no freelancing site directly have services of payoneer, you have to transfer the funds to paypal first and then to payoneer.

Payoneer would be probably the best bet. I got Rs.96.71/$ in last ATM withdrawal (after all kind of taxes). I withdrew max amount (limited from paki banks) 20k & I was charges something around $207 on payoneer.
Charged $207 (20700 Rs) by payoneer?

And how much exactly Payoneer charges you on:
-Transferring from Paypal into Payoneer?
-Each ATM withdrawal transaction of $200?
-Each year/month/week service/membership or any other fee?

Nice share but i haven't got a single authentic review of a person who used it before. How can it be trusted.

Fiverr, Odesk & most likely Elance also have payoneer.
I don't use paypal & use USPS of payoner which charge %1 of total amount during recieving.
ATM withdrawal of 20k pkr costed me ~$207 (rate I got was 96.71/$) lesser you withdraw, huge will be charhes.

You are right about that. When the OP started that thread, I was looking forward to people's experiences who may have used it to receive money in Pakistan but got nothing so far.

It is pretty big and totally legit as its widely used around the globe but sadly, I'm yet to know a person who has used to receive funds using Xoom in Pakistan.

A friend who usually receives payment via Western Union or bank wire transfer from the US for content writing work wanted to use the service but had to decide against it due to the absence of any reviews on the service offered in Pakistan.

Payoneer is also offering $25 Sign up bonus on the following affiliate link program. They claim that the amount will be added as soon as the user deposits his/her first 100 or more dollars into the account.
here is a link for the convenience of the members.

I am also inclined to sign up at payoneer too. It seems it is the only reliable and service for US payments in Pakistan.

Yes I also talked to one of my US clients sometimes earlier and he told me that his freind has used Xoom before and it's legit.
however ultimately he ended up with transferring through WU because he said that 'Xoom' apparently asked to many questions and details and btw WU charged only 99 Rs in total on that transaction and i also receiveed that amount instantly through cash at JSbank

never the less in the end this confirms that both XOOM is also legit.

The Matter is now solved. It would have been better it threads had that "Solved" option.
A summarized Advice for others:
Payoneer - Works but charges to much transaction fees and the ATM card machine hassle
Xoom - Works but haven't tried
Western Union - Works, Have tried it, IMO if you have this option then it the best and most hassle free one. Charges are Low, mainly based on low exchange rates (i.e 150Rs on 25000 Rs - $250)

There is also Skrill/moneybookers option. Through which you can transfer to your own bank account. (But it requires minimum 5,6 days)

Plus i think there is option to mark thread as solved, look for button "Mark as Solved" to right to the reply to this thread button above thread title.

I am using Skrill and Payoneer. I freelance on Upwork (formerly oDesk) and they do pay via Payoneer.
tell them to try WU if they can and see the difference,

can be withdrawn in cash at many places

I have JS bank in walking distance to my residence,
I go there, show my ID and Passcode and Voila. Done

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
