As i said earlier, don't buy a PS3 unless you are buying a HDTV to go with it or you'll be disappointed.

As for the PC 40K is very limited for new gfx heavy games like Crysis the 8800 alone would set you back for 40K.

Well right now PS3 isn't a good option as there aren't any pirated games available. So PC will be a better option. I would recommend you to wait for the card or at least games like Crysis and UT3 are in market

The term "BEST" in the PC world would cost you "THE BEST" too..as Devil said, the 8800 card cost is RS 40,000, Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 cost is RS 21,000, PSU = 12,000, Casing = 6000, Asus Xtreme Striker motherboard: 20,000

A best PC machine can easily cost you more then RS 150,000+ so just get the machine which is the best your budget wise also can fulfill your requirements.

Thanks,

i think it will be good if you wait for 2 or 3 months more as intels new chipsets are coming with DDR3 support and also with Built-in DX10 graphics card ,so just wait and see what is coming , and there will be sure a price drop in present hardwares also if you dont like the new one that intel releases you will have benefit of going to older chipset as the will be little cheap ,
and if cant wait and have a budget of atleast 40-50k then go for this setup :
CPU : i think it is not that necessary to spend all thing on just processor so you must go for E6600 its around 15k
Ram : Corsair 667m X2 will be around 5.6k
Mobo : ASUS P5B-VM cost you around 7.6 k
GPU : well there is not any option for high end gaming except the 8800's which are like this :
8800 320mb (320 bits) DDR3 =21k
8800 overclocked 640mb (320 bits) =28k
8800 768mb (384 bits) = 42.5k
i personally feel that the 320mb one will be ok in 50k setup

PSU : well you will need a good power supply if you are going for any of 8800s they are power hungry , so it will be better if you go for CoolerMaster 550W = 3.3k

Casing depends on you what you like ,if you want stylish and good casing you can go them around = 4-6k

Good Luck To you pal.;)

for now if u don't have PCi-e slot in you mobo then upgrade it to ASUS P5B-VM it has 1 PCI-e @ 16X... second buy a GEFORCE 8800 GTS 320 MB also get a cool master PSU atleast 500W... u could get Core2 duo E6600, Quad core expensive and difference is of only FPS which u won't even able to notice with your eye... and please mention your current PC specs so we can help u in upgrading process

Well put naeem (y), above is a nice gaming PC for your under 50K budget! if you rise your amount a lil bit you can have Asus P5N SLI which will cost you around RS 17,000 or lil less that will give you a robust gaming experience :) plus additional option for SLI for future needs.

yar but SLI can be a major pain.... u need SLI certified memory, SLI certified PSU.... SLI is hard to setup and some times it doesn't improve gaming performance at all, u'll have to doo hours of tweaking.... some games don't support SLI so u'll have to turn it off every time before starting the game... personally i think SLI setup is a complete waste of money and energy
