Xiaomi Mi A2 for 34k, Nokia 6.1 Plus for 36k and Galaxy J6+ for 31k.As the title says, what's the best phone ( best bang for buck ) I could get in 40K right now?

I've compared Xiomi Mi A2 with Nokia 6.1 Plus and they both are good suggestions.Xiaomi Mi A2 for 34k, Nokia 6.1 Plus for 36k and Galaxy J6+ for 31k.
Thanks for your quick reply.
I don't keep myself updated with Huawei's garbage offerings, so I can't suggest anything from there, but the 3 phones mentioned above are all decent and in your budget.
Mi A2 and Nokia are both Android One devices so they'll get monthly security updates and major OS updates quicker than other OEMs.
Used 5T in warranty would be a bit hard to find at 40k, maybe 50 ish.I've compared Xiomi Mi A2 with Nokia 6.1 Plus and they both are good suggestions.
Mi A2 has better photos quality, bigger screen, but it has plastic+metal body, old body design and no headphone jack.
Whereas Nokia 6.1 plus has better colors, sexy glass body, newer body design, has a headphone jack, but camera quality is poor and seems easy to break when dropped. It's overall build quality also looks better than Mi A2.
I'm looking to get a phone which will last me a long time as I don't change my phones very often and I'm also looking for something with bigger battery as the above two only have around 3000 mAH battery.
Any other suggestions in 40k with similar features but bigger battery? What about Xiomi Note 5 Pro or if I wanted to go with a used OnePlus 5T ???
Thanks
How big of a difference will be there in terms of speed / performance if I get Note 5 Pro and not an android one based cell phone like A2 or Nokia 6.1 plus???Used 5T in warranty would be a bit hard to find at 40k, maybe 50 ish.
Note 5 Pro is a good choice in terms of lasting long, large battery and good dev support for custom ROMs as well.
The difference is just software, MIUI isn't that bad, so the Note 5 Pro is fine, but what's great about it is that you can always switch to an AOSP custom ROM, which will give you very good performance. How big of a difference will be there in terms of speed / performance if I get Note 5 Pro and not an android one based cell phone like A2 or Nokia 6.1 plus???
Mi A2 has Snapdragon 660 and Note 5 Pro and Nokia 6.1 Plus have SD 636! so there will be a difference of performance between SD 660 & SD 636 Smartphone! How big of a difference will be there in terms of speed / performance if I get Note 5 Pro and not an android one based cell phone like A2 or Nokia 6.1 plus???
Yeah I've been down that road of custom roms etc, just don't have the time for all that experimentation hahaThe difference is just software, MIUI isn't that bad, so the Note 5 Pro is fine, but what's great about it is that you can always switch to an AOSP custom ROM, which will give you very good performance.
Haven't used Mi A2 yet, have used the other two.Yeah I've been down that road of custom roms etc, just don't have the time for all that experimentation haha
Have you used any of these 3 phones yourself: Mi A2, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Redmi Note 5 Pro?
Which one would you go with if you wanted the best bang, not considering stock android rom?
And what's the deal with global/international variants vs the local variants? Can we not get the global variants registered with PTA?
Replied in the quote itself.Mi A2 has Snapdragon 660 and Note 5 Pro and Nokia 6.1 Plus have SD 636! so there will be a difference of performance between SD 660 & SD 636 Smartphone!
Yes but that also means faster battery drainage and heating up. Plus I don't really use any hardware intensive games/apps anyways so I don't mind getting SD 636 if I'm getting 4000 mAH battery in something like N5P.
if local warranty is ignored then you can also take a look at Mi 8 Lite/Youth version! with Snapdragon 660, 6GB RAM and 64 Storage for 35K brand new. Although like Mi A2 it doesn't have a headphone jack or expansion slot! But it has some Sexy Glass Body, modern design and a Notch!
Can you link me to a website which is selling it in Pakistan so that I can have a look?
A brand new Mi Mix 2 could also be an option for 43K with local warranty! it has Snapdragon 835 with 6GB RAM & 64GB internal storage & it also doesn't have a headphone jack or expansion slot!
Not looking to spend above 40k, that is an option I also considered while searching though
Xiaomi provides pretty good support for their phones, they have recently even updated their old smartphone which were released back in 2014 to MIUI 10 (Their latest Android OS).
I'm currently using LG G3 and I purchased it 3-4 years back and it's still running strong! Haven't even had the need to change it's battery and it still gives me a whole day of moderate usage like txting, photos, whatsapp, browser usage.Haven't used Mi A2 yet, have used the other two.
They're all good phones in terms of user experience, just depends on what's more important to you, whether it's camera, or battery size, display size etc.
I'd probably go with the Note 5 Pro, because MIUI aside, it's a solid phone and battery life is insane.
Local Xiaomi phones sold by SmartLink or AirLink are global variants, they just have the IMEIs registered with PTA so they're considered 'PTA Compliant'.
If you get the global variant from abroad, like from UAE, it'll be the same phone and once you use it with a Pakistani SIM card, it will automatically get registered with PTA.
Same applies to the Nokia phones. If you buy from UAE, it's exactly the same phone but here the one sold by Advance Telecom has the IMEI registered with PTA already.
No mate, SD 660 is pretty battery efficient, so battery drainage wont be a issue and you also get fast capabilities with it, SD 636 also has it.Replied in the quote itself.
Xiaomi is a pretty solid Smartphone brand now! there build quality for mid range smartphone is also pretty good Btw Redmi Note 5 Pro and Nokia 6.1 Plus have nearly identical specs! so there is no reason to spend over 30K for Nokia 6.1 Plus unless you want a Sexy looking smartphone and a Android One phone with regular security updates.I'm currently using LG G3 and I purchased it 3-4 years back and it's still running strong! Haven't even had the need to change it's battery and it still gives me a whole day of moderate usage like txting, photos, whatsapp, browser usage.
I have not used Xiomi before so I'm a little reluctant if it's a reliable brand and the phone won't start to have hardware issues 6-8 months down the road like battery drainage etc. How long have you been using your Nokia 6.1 Plus and N5P??? Which one would you say is more reliable and has stayed stable in performance?
Unlikely that you'll have hardware issues, most of the parts are the same parts that are used in other phones, plus Xiaomi's history is pretty clean. The reason people hang on to these phones so long is because they last very long, people are still using old Redmi Note 3s because after official support ends, they have a very thriving custom ROM community that keeps the phone going.I'm currently using LG G3 and I purchased it 3-4 years back and it's still running strong! Btw keep on checking the PG Mobile Phones & Accessories forum section, as nearly last week a respectable PG member Sold his LG G6 (non furbished) smartphone for about 25K (Phone only)!
or you can get yourself a brand new LG G6 for almost 40K, if you want.

BTW i have bought some smartphones from the aforementioned website! Like Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung J7 Max, HTC Desire 10 PRO all Brand New, they provide COD, but there order processing can sometimes be very slower! i hope this helps
Thanks for your replies, I have decided to go with Note 5 Pro mainly due it's larger battery but also because it looks like the best option in around 30k.Unlikely that you'll have hardware issues, most of the parts are the same parts that are used in other phones, plus Xiaomi's history is pretty clean. Besides, even IF something happens 6-8 months down the line, N5 Pro comes with official warranty, so you can claim it here locally.
Nokia was pretty stable in terms of performance, the few days that I had it, I was using it on 8.1 Oreo, it is receiving the Android 9.0 update now, and that will definitely improve the performance even more.
People might think that MIUI will lag because of it's heavy modification to Android, but that's not the case. Even with an SD 636, the N5 Pro is quite a decent performer.
Like I said, it's all up to your requirements, just get whichever one fits them better..
32k is the official retail price of the 4/64 variant. Thanks for your input, I have decided to go with Note 5 Pro mainly due it's larger battery but also because it looks like the best option in around 30k.
Anyplace online which is selling the 4GB+64GB variant in sky blue color with warranty for less than this website:
https://www.ishopping.pk/xiaomi-redmi-note-5-pro-64gb-4gb-blue-official-price-in-pakistan.html
Also do you think I could get it cheaper if I visited the cell phone market like Hafiz Center or Hall Road???
Thanks

Market main jaane sai kitna discount mil jaiga approximately? If it's less than 3k then I'd rather just order online and not go through the hassle.32k is the official retail price of the 4/64 variant.
Some shops may sell it to you at wholesale rate, so you could try and find one in any of the phone markets.
Yes, it will most likely be less than 3k. You'd probably get it for around 29.5 or 30k instead of 32.Market main jaane sai kitna discount mil jaiga approximately? If it's less than 3k then I'd rather just order online and not go through the hassle.

why you are paying american rates in Pakistan. Search cheaper region like Turkey. 13k for 13 months.
