Below 4x burning speed not supported in writer. Read please

My writer doesn't support below than 4x. I selected 2.4x in imgBurn but it says Writer speed miscompare and still it gives a good burn. So should i burn on 4x ?? Or try clone cd with 2.4x but i dont think that will do the job or could give a bad burn ?

4x is fine, I usually burn my melodies at that speed and have had an 80% success rate.

Thanks but the question is 80%. I buy melody dvd's from market 100rs each. Dont wanna waste them, Should i try clonecd burning at 2.4x ? Because in imgBurn it says supported speeds 4x 6x 8x ..

2.4x not being supported is not the problem of IMG burn but a problem of the burner or media .... dont worry 4x is good enough for burning games without failures

If ImgBurn says anything below 4x is not supported then you better believe it ... But which writer do you have, which doesn't support speeds below 4x ? ..

I used to have a lightscribe writer of LG.. It was not burning cheap media so i changed to the local one .. HP 1260i
