Seems like problem with adsl rooting. You have all ports forward right to play the games? Also try to reinstall and update manually PB.

using dreamnet 4MB service ATM
i have tried chrome and latest windows default explorer

it used to show up on PTCL 2-3 years back.

any suggestions?

I'm getting rubbish pings, hovering around 180-190ms at best. How does one even play online MP in such lag is beyond me.
And doesn't BF3 have an SnD mode? I dislike respawning and the ensuing chaos modes.
