hey fellas! I started playing BF3 again like after 4 months....Now, i don't know why the game crashes to desktop screen everytime.. sometimes it may crash after 5 minutes or at others after half an hour, but it always does. I have updated some 2.3GB patch successfully, replaced the language files, repaired the installed files through origin but unfortunately nothing seems to be working. Please, let me know if i am missing something.Thanks! :wink2:

it seems like windows problem to me try reinstalling that

No map of close quarters dlc loads except ziba tower.in case of all other maps map will keep loading no mater how long u wait.i have tried repair install but no result.i am able to play only ziba tower.can anyone tell me solution.i,ll be thankful

Don't you people know DICE. They release stuff which is BETA so you are bound to face these problems. My advice wait for two weeks and when they officially release Close Quarters then do a fresh install, probably its the issue with the game not you.

I'd suggest simply getting the "xpack2" folder within "update" folder from a friend who has one. And simply repair when done copy/pasting. I've done it many times.

Happens to me too, mostly when I respawn.

I just jump around till the guns show.

This no weapon thing mostly happens in high ping servers.

Is this happening in stock maps as well?

Try playing very low ping servers for a while and report back.

Correct! Happens with me too when someone revives me in a 300+ ping server. I start running and firing until someone kills me and I respawn.

Join a server with over 500 ping

When you die of an explosion or fall off, you go under the map

This happens usually in cases of high latencies, or background downloads.

But, could be a bug in the game. You might want to wait for DICE to iron it out.

You niggaz are forgetting two important things.

One is the obvious ping problem that everyone has noted down, but it isn't always the problem factor. I've played on servers with ping in the 300 range and as low as 20 just yesterday. The other problem is known as server lag and it's most common on 64 player maps, however, not limited to it and not all of those maps.

try CQ maps wit h32 players .. 64 player games in CQ lag very much .. even in below 50 ping servers .. CQ maps r best with 32 players !!

every one having problem with cq maps delete cq dlc folder xpack2 and download it again from origin.i was having both problems.i could load only ziba tower in cq maps and some times this only loadable map gave me no weapon problem.but after trying above solution my problem is solved.and u can resume downloading with origin if light goes so u dont need to get it xpack2 from someone else.delete it and download it again

Guys I need some help...
Whenever I join a ranked server punkbuster will disconnect me within 30 seconds of joining and sometimes it will give "Game Disconnected: Something went wrong" error or "No packet flow" error. I started facing this problem two days ago. If I remember correctly it used to work OK before that.

Game is updated to latest version and punkbuster is also updated. Using 4mbps PTCL DSL. Any help is appreciated...
